It looks like the pre-opening will run from Tuesday, December 1 to Sunday, December 6.
Business hours will be slightly shorter, from 12:00 to 22:00.
We had just recently posted an article saying Kura Sushi would have its grand opening on December 7.

The parking lot can fit as many as 105 cars!
In the previous article, we wrote that back when it was Kojima Electric, the parking lot could fit 50 cars.
According to the official website, it can now fit a whopping 105 cars!!
It has the most seats in Nishinomiya
Kura Sushi Koshien has as many as 268 seats.

From seating and ordering to plate counting and payment, it’s set up so you can avoid contact with people.

The Yakiniku Katchan in Imazu we wrote about recently had a similar setup too.
In closing
More and more supermarkets are switching to machines for checkout too, and COVID seems likely to speed up that trend even further.
If you’re planning to visit the new Kura Sushi, we recommend installing the smartphone app in advance, since you can make reservations with it too.
