Welcome to this week’s “This Week in Nishinomiya,” where we look back at the Nishinomiya openings, closings, and hot topics covered by “Nishitsu (Nishinomiya Tsushin)” this week (11/21–11/27)!
Here is the fir tree at Gardens. It looks like Kura Sushi’s opening date has been set for December 7. The pre-opening seems to be from December 1 to December 6. We’ll write an article about it tomorrow.

Something That Changed at Nishitsu This Week
There was one thing this week.
We Had Set Tip Emails as Spam
As we wrote in “[Apology] Tips Had Been Reaching Nishitsu,” we had accidentally set tip submission emails as spam<m(__)m>
Please let me explain why I thought they hadn’t been set as spam.
① On November 27, I thought, “Huh, we haven’t been getting many tips lately.”
② It turned out that not a single tip had arrived since November 18.
④ I realized that I had been tinkering with the email-sending program on November 18.
“Wait, maybe I messed something up and there’s a bug preventing emails from sending!” I panicked.
I sent a test through the tip submission form. It showed “Sent,” but no email arrived!!
Panic. Panic. Panic.
I decided, “Yep, I definitely broke the program.”
⑤ I wrote an article announcing a problem with the tip submission form.
⑥ I investigated which program I had modified.
But there were no signs that any program files had been changed.
Strange? Why?
⑦ For some reason, I checked the spam folder. Then I found tip emails from Nishinomiya Tsushin scattered in there.
⑧ “Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa”
⑨ I wrote an apology article.
The issue is step ④.
On November 18, I made a small change to a program related to the tip submission form, but it didn’t go well.
So that day, I had uploaded the changed file after “restoring it to its original state.”
I had forgotten that part.
November 18. Program change. Emails stopped coming.
From those two facts, there was only one conclusion.
“I absolutely messed up the system fix.”
But in reality, the punchline was that the emails had gone to spam.
Well, since accidentally marking them as spam is a fatal mistake too, either way, a mistake is a mistake.
I have absolutely no memory of doing it, though (T_T)Maybe I clicked something by accident… I’ll be careful.
Thank You for the Tips!!

We’ll also be publishing articles based on the tips sent through the site!!!!
So, with that, we’re waiting for your Nishinomiya tips through the fully restored tip submission form! Of course, tips through LINE are welcome too!
