This Week’s Roundup
This week, the most-viewed article was about Mandari, a greengrocer near Hanshin Nishinomiya Station. Part of the interest may have been that it’s near Ebessan, but many people were probably also surprised by the unexpected touches, like a stone statue of Ebessan at a greengrocer and the sale of “Ebisu Fuku Omen Senbei.”
The second most popular article was about the opening of a ramen shop called “Mokkosu” near Hankyu Imazu Station. It’s a popular ramen shop from Kobe, and this will be its second location in Nishinomiya. Imazu already has several ramen shops, so that may be why it drew attention.
The third was “Hansai Baru.” This is a one-day-only food-hopping event on September 22 where you can enjoy participating spots for 500 yen or 1,000 yen without coupons. For Nishitsu as well, this event led to the legendary effort of Daa @ Nishitsu joining Hansai Baru and discovering 10 participating shops in the Hanshin Nishinomiya area in a short period of time.
So this week’s lineup ended up featuring a lot of gourmet information from the Hanshin Nishinomiya area. Starting next week, Nishinomiya Tsushin will return to its usual coverage.
Nishinomiya is a large city, and we still don’t have enough information from every area. If you notice any changes in Nishinomiya, such as store openings or closings, construction, or anything else that catches your attention, we’d be grateful if you could send us a tip<m(__)m>
