What’s at the Festival
There are four main types of activities.
The event runs from 11:30 to 16:00.
Bingo Tournament
There will be a bingo tournament where you can win some pretty amazing prizes.
I’ll write more about the details further down in this article.
Food Stalls
There will be food stalls selling beer, tapioca drinks, yakisoba, and more.
It also says there will be “fun booths.” What could they be??
Performance Stage
Starting at 13:00, the stage will feature kids’ dance performances, cheer dance, live music, and more.
Ebisu☆Marché
Handmade goods will be on sale.
There will also be various workshops, including “slime making,” which is super popular with kids.
The Bingo Prizes Are Amazing
Anyone who buys draft beer, highballs, or yakisoba will receive a bingo card.
These bingo cards are limited to the first 60 people, so you should go early.
And the prizes are pretty impressive. (I asked the organizers for the model numbers.)
1st Prize: Dyson Cordless Cleaner
The 1st prize is a cordless handheld vacuum cleaner made by Dyson.
The model number is V6 TriggerPro.

I have one of these Dyson vacuums (an older model than this one), and it’s incredibly useful in the car.
It’s completely different from the 2,000 to 3,000 yen ones you find at auto supply stores.
First of all, it sucks up sand from the floor really well.
You can see the sand gradually collecting inside, which makes it oddly satisfying to vacuum.
At home, too, when you spot a small bit of dirt, you no longer have to go through the hassle of dragging out a corded vacuum cleaner.
It does make a slightly high-pitched sound, though.
2nd Prize: Humidifying Air Purifier
The 2nd prize is a Sharp humidifying air purifier. It’s suitable for Western-style rooms up to 11 tatami mats and Japanese-style rooms up to 8 tatami mats.
The model number is KC-G40.

We have a humidifier at home too, and it’s really helpful in winter when your throat tends to get dry.
Plus, since it’s made by Sharp, it produces Plasmacluster ions.
Honestly, since it’s something you can’t see, I don’t really know how effective Plasmacluster is, but from personal experience, the humidifying effect does keep my throat from drying out.
3rd Prize: Robot Vacuum Cleaner
The 3rd prize is a robot vacuum cleaner from Don Quijote’s private brand.
The model number is ERC-282A-WH.

It’s not quite a Roomba, of course, but having even one robot vacuum cleaner is amazing.
What’s so amazing? Your room gets clean.
You’re probably thinking, “Well, obviously.”
But here’s the thing: you end up developing the habit of not leaving things on the floor in advance, so the robot vacuum won’t get caught on them.
At that point, the main function of vacuuming the floor almost starts to feel like a bonus.
4th Prize: Massager
The 4th prize is a massager.
The model number is MD-420. The colors are red and gray, but I’m not sure which one it will be.
Tsukami-momi Massager MD-420|THRIVE|Daito Electric Machine Industry Co., Ltd.
I don’t really get stiff shoulders much, so I’m not sure whether this kind of thing is good or not. (Sorry.)
But it looks like it clamps around you, and I’ve never seen one with this kind of sturdy-looking design before, so it seems pretty impressive.
5th to 10th Prizes
There are prizes from 5th to 10th place, and it looks like you can receive things like shopping district gift certificates.
In Closing
At events, you often see those lottery-wheel drawings, but doesn’t a bingo tournament feel exciting?? It’s not exactly something you can win through your own effort, but there’s that feeling that your number just might come up. It’s limited to the first 60 people, but if you can join, give it a try.
