As a penalty for mistakenly writing the easternmost and westernmost ends the wrong way around in the recent Naruo Mikage Line article,
I tried riding my bike 24.2 (Nishi-tsu) km along Route 2, heading waaay west from the easternmost point of Nishinomiya🚲

Starting Point (Muko Ohashi Bridge)

The time is 12:37.
Starting from Muko Ohashi Bridge! (Let’s keep it a secret that the photo was taken in Amagasaki.)
Come to think of it, I once skipped across Muko Ohashi Bridge too.

It’s 2 km from the Kamikoshien Campus to the Central Campus.

The only “Kagonoya” in Nishinomiya.

Honwaka Shopping Street is one of Nishinomiya’s largest shopping streets, opened in 1934.

Yeraishan, which closed on October 25.

It’s far away and hard to see, but this is across from Morinaga Milk Industry. I wonder if the cows are doing well in Ibaraki Prefecture.

There are 2 “Royal Home Center” stores in Nishinomiya; the other one is in Taishacho.

I was surprised that Hanshin-Kokudo Station ranked No. 1 in the “Stations You Should Live Near” ranking (°_°)

Did you use Frente’s premium shopping vouchers?

In 2 years, we’ll probably be able to see the newly reborn Nishinomiya Wholesale Market.

That blue penguin you often see is apparently Don Quijote’s official character, “Donpen.” Did you know that?

This “Fudabasuji Intersection” appeared in Part 2 of the “Nishinomiya Intersections” series.

Apparently, mail from some parts of Nishinomiya gets an Amagasaki postmark.

Isoya Namihei is located at 15-1 Sanjocho and is open from 17:00 to 1:00 the next day.

At the Koshien branch that opened on December 7, there’s a “contactless” Kura Sushi, the only one of its kind in Kansai.

Just a 44-second walk from Sakura Shukugawa Station, “ALBPBBY,” which has the latest shampoo stations, has something nice for you if you say “I saw Nishi-tsu” by the end of December…

There’s been plenty to talk about in Shukugawa lately, like the carp getting some new friends and a sign that looks like it might bring good luck!!

There’s also a family restaurant on Route 2 that’s been “sparking.”
Ashiya City (Places That Feel Like Nishinomiya)

From here, we enter Ashiya City. The Nishinomiya-like spots in Ashiya are right here↓↓
…or at least, that’s what I wanted to say, but I couldn’t find any places in Ashiya that felt like Nishinomiya (T . T)
5.6 km so far
So, on to Kobe City.
Kobe City (Places That Feel Like Nishinomiya)

I nearly rode right past it.

The “Red Torii Gate” along the Honjo-Motoyama Line. Nishinomiya has an impressive torii gate too.

“Fudaba Shoten” in Tanakacho, Higashinada Ward. I wonder if it has any connection to Fudabasuji.

The intersection where Ikari Supermarket Mikage is located. It actually crosses Yumebasuji.

Nishinada Station………….

There are 2 gas tanks at the Osaka Gas Fukiai Supply Station. Not that they particularly feel like Nishinomiya or anything.

What surprised me was that Route 2 doesn’t pass in front of Sannomiya Station. It goes under the Port Liner tracks and heads south.

The Nishi-tsu members once played tag there. Oh wait, that was “Araki no Mori Park” (^_^)

The view from the pedestrian bridge at Bentencho Intersection. I could see Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel, the Mosaic Ferris Wheel, and more!

“Shichinomiya.” Don’t you think it feels more like Nishinomiya than Nishinada Station does?

It said “Welcome to Kobe!” in 7 languages. Welcame to Nishinomiya!!

The postbox in front of the brightly decorated Kobe Honmachi Post Office. I feel like Nishinomiya had one like this too…
