The 34th Naniwa Yodogawa Fireworks Festival and the Itami Fireworks Festival were visible from Nishinomiya too.
(Information provided by Toki no Tabibito-san, Aramasa-san, and Meal-san. Thank you!)
Here↓

Yumacchi @ Nishi2 took this from around Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi.
It’s zoomed in, but it’s amazing how big it looks even from Nishinomiya.

From Toki no Tabibito-san, who lives in Nishinomiya!
So this is about how it looked to the naked eye.

Apparently, they could even see the Itami Fireworks Festival, which was happening at the same time!
Being able to see two fireworks festivals at once is pretty amazing.

From Aramasa-san, taken at the Higashi Rokko Observatory in Nishinomiya.
Apparently it’s 19 km away!
Here’s where Higashi Rokko Observatory is on the map↓
The address is 1-68 Koshimizu Shakeyama, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.
We wrote about it as the highest observatory in Nishinomiya!
Video where you can see both the Yodogawa and Itami fireworks↓
Aramasa-san’s video↓
You can watch it beautifully, almost from start to finish!
We also received a video showing what it was like at the venue↓
This is from the Yodogawa riverbank.
Here it is on the map↓
According to Meal-san, although the event started at 19:30, people had been saving spots from around 13:00, and even after it ended at 20:30 they had to wait there for another three hours. That’s a 10-hour stay!
There are paid viewing seats at the venue, but if you’re looking for a rough idea of where you can watch for free, please use this as a reference for next year. Think carefully about whether to watch from Nishinomiya
*Thank you to Toki no Tabibito-san, Aramasa-san, and Meal-san for the information!!
