Welcome to “This Week in Nishinomiya,” where we look back at the Nishinomiya openings and closings covered this week (8/26–9/1) on “Nishitsu (Nishinomiya Tsushin),” plus other stories that got people talking!
This week, we found out which shops will be moving into the new “Plus Building” being built next to Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens. Also, the news that a British luxury car brand, on par with Ferrari and others, will be on display at Gardens’ main building drew a lot of attention too. Did you see it?

Something That Changed on Nishitsu This Week
There’s one thing this week.
No News from the Mondo-Yakujin and Hinokuchi Area for 4 Weeks
At Nishitsu, we divide Nishinomiya into 15(probably) areas and categorize our articles by area.
But there hasn’t been anything from the Mondo-Yakujin and Hinokuchi area for four whole weeks. That means it hasn’t come up on Nishitsu for a full month, which feels a little lonely. Personally, I feel like one week without news is about the limit.
So, since I said that, I’m hoping we’ll get some stories next week from the three areas that didn’t appear this week: Nigawa, Mondo-Yakujin, and Yamaguchi-cho.
With that said, if you have any interesting tips from around Nishinomiya, we’ll keep turning them into articles! We’d love to hear from you through our tip submission form, LINE, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and more!
Thank you as always!
