It looks like “Takasaki-ryu Izakaya Dojo” near Koshienguchi Station will be closing.
(Thanks to Fumakuchi~ and Marty@Nishi2 sp for the tip.)
Here’s the notice↓

It says the restaurant will close on Sunday, April 20. Apparently, it has been in business for 33 years.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 3-3-23 Koshienguchi, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.
Around “Takasaki-ryu Izakaya Dojo Koshienguchi”

Diagonally across the street, there are places like the standing bar “Ebisu Maru.”

If you go this way, you’ll find places like the tonkatsu specialty restaurant Katsuno, and it leads to the rotary in front of JR Koshienguchi Station.

If you go in the opposite direction, you’ll find Kathmandu Curry PUJA, the bakery Lip Current, and more.
Finally
This izakaya chain mainly operates in Osaka, and according to reviews, the Koshienguchi location used to show Hanshin Tigers games inside the restaurant. There was also apparently a service where drinks became cheaper when the team won. The sound of taiko drums would ring out when customers entered and left, giving the place a lively atmosphere. With many popular menu items such as live horse mackerel sashimi, chicken wings, and pinpin-yaki, it had been loved by locals for many years, so it’s sad to see it close.
※Thank you, Fumakuchi~ and Marty@Nishi2 sp, for the information!!
