Did you know there’s a free parenting play space where preschool-age children can play, just a 1-minute walk from LaLaport Koshien?

“Mukogawa Women’s University Kosodate Hiroba”
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 4-14-4 Naruocho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.

Exit from the east side of LaLaport Koshien, on the Ito-Yokado side, cross the pedestrian crossing, and it’s right there next to the playground of Mukogawa Women’s University Kindergarten.
It is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
No reservation is needed.Capacity is about 20 groups per session, on a first-come, first-served basis.

There is no parking lot.

The bicycle parking area is about a 50-meter walk from Kosodate Hiroba. If you come with a stroller, please park it in front of Kosodate Hiroba.

Take an entry card in the order you arrive, take off your shoes, and head up to the second floor. The stairs are quite steep, so please make sure a guardian accompanies children and go up slowly.

This is the entrance area.

Take a numbered tag and go up to the second floor.

There’s a baby gate, so you can feel at ease🫶 Guardians should open it and go inside with their children.
As soon as you enter, write your name, your child’s age in years and months, and your entry time in the row with the same number as the numbered tag you took downstairs📝

For first-time visitors, the staff will explain the rules and points to keep in mind when using the space.

After that, everyone is free to play as they like🧸

Inside, there are lots of toys and picture books, including wooden toys.

📚It’s okay even if babies put them in their mouths. They take good care of hygiene here😌

There’s a ball pit too.

Lots of picture books as well.

This little house, like a secret hideout, is popular with kids☺️

There’s plenty of pretend-play kitchen stuff too🍳

At 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., the staff do picture-book readings and hand-play songs🤲

Parents and children all look like they’re having fun🥰

There’s also a nursing space, a diaper-changing area, and a baby bed for when your baby falls asleep.

The other day, my 6-month-old daughter got tired from playing and fell asleep halfway throughǶ
