Welcome to “This Week in Nishinomiya,” where we look back on the Nishinomiya openings and closings covered by “Nishi2 (Nishinomiya Tsushin)” this week (1/16–1/22), along with other topics that got people talking!
“Tamago bread” was being handed out for free at Motosue, whose opening has been postponed! For some reason, we keep seeing Dokin-chan while reporting. This is her second appearance.
This article is brought to you with support from “chotto,” a smoothie specialty shop that supports Nishi2.

Something That Changed at Nishi2 This Week
There was one thing this week.
We permanently installed a thermometer at Nishi2!
The Nishi2 office is in Shukugawa, and we bought something called NETATMO, which can measure and record temperature in real time.
It looks like this↓
We place the larger unit indoors and the smaller one outside.
By connecting to Wi-Fi, it records things like temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, and carbon dioxide levels.
You can view it on your phone like this↓

Graph↓

It’s super easy to see things like the time when the temperature was lowest on the graph.
Recently, you can see that the lowest point was around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday the 21st. It was 1.7 degrees!!
This item may come in handy for future articles, so stay tuned!
Thank You for the Tips!!
With the state of emergency declared, you may not have many chances to go out, but if you notice any changes around town, we’d love to hear from you through the tip submission form or LINE!
