It appeared at 4 p.m. in front of the Co-op near Hinoike Park. So many people had gathered〜

This intensity!

When a danjiri comes right alongside you, the sheer force of the sound, or whatever you’d call it, is incredible. If you go to see one, you really should experience it up close at least once.

These are tabi. They have rubber soles so they don’t slip easily.

And a danjiri dog made an appearance too! Maybe that JIB bag smelled good〜😆

A “danjiri girl” with cute hair accessories.

What’s amazing is that kids can join in and pull the danjiri ropes. It starts in front of the Co-op!

A huge crowd of spectators moves along together with the danjiri〜. There were so many people, and it was so much fun〜〜

The wheel tracks left after the danjiri passes are amazing. You can tell exactly what route it took.

It passed by the Lawson at Hinoike Park and headed toward Kurakuen-guchi-dori.

When it arrived at Koshikiiwa Kaikan, we heard the sound of what seemed to be another danjiri.

Are the kids at the lower left pulling another team’s danjiri?!

Whoa!! The people in white!
These people in white are with the Koshikiiwa Youth Association OB Group / Ichibankai’s Ichi-ban Danjiri〜. They’re the veterans〜

The moment it climbs over this step going into Kita-Shukugawa Elementary School is spectacular. The instant it rides up, it goes DON.

Everyone in blue is with the Koshikiiwa Youth Association’s Ni-ban Danjiri〜. They’re the younger crew〜

This is the top of the danjiri, which you normally can’t see from above. The impact is just as incredible as ever!

Here it is entering Koshikiiwa Kaikan. Please take a close look at the photo where the gravity around one person seems very strange.

Wait! This is way too amazing!! It’s not every day you get to see such a full-power danjiri scene. Koshikiiwa is amazing.

A short break at Koshikiiwa Kaikan〜〜〜. Looking closely, they’re eating something〜〜〜

The members of the Koshikiiwa Women’s Association were serving curry〜〜

Still, that amount of rice is incredible!

Absolutely the best〜〜〜〜

Dig in〜〜〜

It was suuuuuuuper delicious curry〜. Maybe this is what makes people want to take part again next year.
And then

The danjiri will be out again today, September 23 (Mon), from 1 p.m.! There will be a parade performance in front of Kurakuen-guchi Station at 7 p.m. And I’m really curious about the magical nighttime shrine entrance, so I’m thinking of going to see it〜. For those planning to go, here’s the super useful schedule〜
