Learn the realities of how politicians and assembly members get started!
Japan’s young people are seriously disengaged from politics.
On top of that, women’s political participation ranks 113th in the world, an all-time low.
We have planned a course to help people feel closer to politics and elections.
This course will be held through video streaming, so you can watch it whenever you like.
We look forward to receiving many applications!
Lecturer: Visiting Professor Masashi Kuriyama
Former Hyogo Prefectural Assembly member (3 terms), former Nishinomiya City Council member (2 terms)

He was first elected to the Nishinomiya City Council at age 28 and served two terms. At age 36, he ran for the Hyogo Prefectural Assembly
and served three terms.
Since April 2023, he has been a visiting professor in the School of General Education at Mukogawa Women’s University.
