What Changed on Nishitsu This Week
There was one change this week.
There’s Something Weird Next to the Nishitsu Logo
The Nishitsu logo used to be a simple one that said “西宮つーしん.”
This time, we added Nishitsu’s mascot character, “にしつーどり.”
The character itself has existed since a year ago, and it recently got an upgrade, so we figured we’d give it a little more exposure.
Someday, we’ll make Nishitsu-dori dolls and Nishitsu-dori smartphone cases, then rake in tons of money selling character merch, so look forward to it! (Just kidding.)
But I really would like to make a costume and walk around Shukugawa in it.
We Removed the Views Count Display
Some of you may have noticed, but we removed the views count display that used to appear on the Nishitsu homepage and articles.
If you’re thinking, “Wait, was that even there?” then this is something you can just skip over.
For those wondering, “Huh, why?” here’s the explanation.
There are a few reasons, but one is that we don’t want people to choose articles based on numbers.
It feels like a waste if someone misses an article that could lead to a really great discovery just because they were influenced by the numbers.
Another reason is that PV counts aren’t something we care about much in the first place. There are various other reasons too, but basically, this was the result of an overall decision. Let’s just call it grown-up circumstances.
Thank You for the Tips!!
With the state of emergency still in effect, many of you are probably spending time at home watching Amazon Prime, YouTube, and so on. But that doesn’t mean you never go outside at all, so if you notice anything different around Nishinomiya, please send us information through the tip submission form or LINE!
