Things That Changed at Nishi2 This Week
There are four items this week.
The feedback for our Nishi2 survey project has been way too encouraging
Recently, we decided to make the Nishi2 survey a weekly feature.
In it, we include an optional question asking for opinions and feedback about Nishi2.
And what people have written there includes words like “fun,” “looking forward to it,” and “enjoyable” — honestly, there are so many people who look forward to Nishi2 articles. Reading those comments makes us feel like we have no choice but to keep working hard.
So we’re going to keep doing more and more things that everyone in Nishinomiya can enjoy, and things that will surprise you too! Seriously. We mean it. Stay tuned!
Nihonsakari’s giveaway project
Some people may not have noticed, but we’re giving away Nihonsakari products as part of a collaboration project with Nihonsakari.
And what’s rare these days is that it’s first come, first served.
First come, first served.
In the first round, five people will receive three bottle cans of Nama Genshu Junmai Daiginjo. (A great one for outdoor activities)
In the second round, five people will receive two bottles of Nihonsakari amazake! Both also come with 10 Nishi2 stickers, whether you actually want them or not!!
So there may be a third round too (we’re basically saying there will be), and there’s some good luck hidden in Nihonsakari articles. Since we assume not many people are reading this part in “This Week in Nishinomiya,” make sure to check the next Nihonsakari article!
Nishi2’s gourmet article reform
We’ve reduced the gourmet articles we used to publish every day to four times a week.
As a general rule, they now run on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Also, gourmet articles used to go up at noon, but we changed the time to 11:00.
The reason is that if they go up at 11:00, that restaurant can still become an option for where to eat that day.
From Nishi2’s perspective, since we went to the trouble of writing about it, we want people to experience that same excitement.
That means readers need to see the article on the same day and still have enough time to act on it. So we chose 11:00.
New members Yumacchi and Kurayan are settling in
Yumacchi joined Nishi2 in late August, and Kurayan joined in early September.
They’ve been working with us for a little over a month now, and after getting through the trial (?) of a gyoza party where drinking during work hours was allowed, they’re gradually settling into Nishi2.
Yumacchi is fully mobile and has great information-gathering skills, while Kurayan already came in with article-writing skills from the start. We’re grateful! Nishi2 is in good hands!
Thank You for the Tips!!
It looks like some kind of construction has started at the former Gyomu Super site in Ryodocho. From the look of it, I’d guess it might be something like a condominium model room. Just a guess, though. We’re planning to turn it into an article sometime next week.
Thank you very much for all the many detailed tips this week!!!!!
Next week, we’ll be waiting for more Nishinomiya information through LINE or our tip submission form! If your tip is used, we’ll send you 10 Nishi2 stickers! (Do you even want them??)
