Something New on Nishitsu This Week
There was one item this week.
We’re Starting “Info That Almost Became an Article” in This Week in Nishinomiya
We’d like to introduce a new section in This Week in Nishinomiya called “Info That Almost Became an Article.”
This is a section where we’ll share tips we received with photos that came very close to becoming full articles.
will mainly be in charge of this section.
“Now then, let’s get started!”
Info That Almost Became an Article
★Starting this week, this section is based on information provided by readers who took photos and sent them in ヽ(^o^)丿
We received this from Kazu on June 28↓

We received a follow-up to the story about the cow parent and child being removed from Morinaga Milk Industry along Route 2 \(^o^)/
“The Morinaga Milk Industry facility has closed, and I wondered what would happen to the cow parent and child, so I posted about it on Facebook.
Someone who seems to be connected to Morinaga Milk Industry let me know.
The cow parent and child from Morinaga Milk Industry along Route 2 moved to the Tone Factory in Ibaraki Prefecture at the end of March this year.”
This was something Nishitsu had been wondering about too! So they went all the way to Ibaraki Prefecture (*^^)v
We’re glad they weren’t destroyed!(^^)!
We received this from an anonymous reader on July 8↓

“Good morning. Thank you as always for your interesting articles.
At around 5:20 this morning, I spotted what looked like spot-billed ducks? in the Higashigawa River, so I’m reporting it.
The three of them were desperately trying not to get swept away by the muddy current (;_;)
It was frustrating that all I could do was cheer them on.
I hope they make it safely through this heavy rain.”
It made us want to cheer, “Everyone! Hang in there! There’s a safe spot behind you!” We’re praying they’re okay!!!
We received this from an anonymous reader on July 10↓

“There was something like a mushroom growing at the base of a roadside tree on the north side of the tracks between Hanshin Mukogawa Station and Naruo Station.”
This mushroom appears to be an Ooshirokarakasatake mushroom.
Nishitsu also recently covered mushrooms in the article We Found Bumpy Things in the Woods at Shinrin Park [Nishinomiya Photo] (*^^)v
Thank you, everyone, for sending in your tips ヽ(^o^)丿
(Due to time constraints, we plan to publish tips received through last week in the next “This Week in Nishinomiya” <m(__)m>)
Please Send Us Your Tips
This week, we received all kinds of surprising tips! Thank you so, so much!!
Because of the impact of COVID-19, there have been so many changes lately, and it really hit home that we can’t gather all the information on our own.
If you notice any changes around Nishinomiya, we’d be very grateful if you could send the information to Nishitsu <m(__)m>
