Weekend Events
On Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th, Lohas Park, featuring handmade goods, workshops, and more, will be held at Naruohama Seaside Park.
A Flower Festival is being held at Rokutanji Park. Miyatan might make an appearance too, so fans should definitely check it out!
As for the weekend temperatures, we’d like to say it’ll be pleasantly springlike, but it looks like it’s going to be pretty hot.
So make sure to stay hydrated and get enough salt to avoid heatstroke.Men can surprisingly tend to overlook this, but if you’re someone who turns red from sunburn, sunscreen is quietly important too.

This Week’s Roundup
This week, Little Mermaid in Yakushi-cho got a lot of attention. People really do get excited about a new bakery, don’t they? After all, it’s a big deal when your breakfast options change.
Also this week, there was a wild boar incident on the 21st and a monkey commotion on the 22nd. Raccoons have apparently been showing up too, to the point that it feels like the Nishinomiya Animal Kingdom is in session.
We ask for your tips here every week, and this week’s much-talked-about Little Mermaid story came from a reader tip~~(clap clap)
Since the Nishi2 team alone can’t cover all of this wide city of Nishinomiya, we truly appreciate your information. To the reader who sent us the tip this time: thank you so, so much!!
Going forward, Nishi2 hopes to keep building the most useful Nishinomiya information site together with everyone living in Nishinomiya, so we sincerely appreciate your continued support!!
That’s it for this week’s Nishi2.
Have a great weekend!
