Here’s the weekend weather and event info for Nishinomiya.
Rain is in the forecast this weekend
Saturday the 6th will be cloudy, with a 30% chance of rain and a high of 30°C. It looks like there will be lots of clouds, with a chance of passing showers.
Sunday the 7th will be cloudy with occasional sunshine, with a 40% chance of rain and a high of 30°C. It seems we may get some sunny spells on Sunday.

Featured Events in Nishinomiya
Saturday the 6th
There are two featured events on Saturday.
The first is CANDLENIGHT, held at Shukugawa Park. Don’t forget to bring an empty jar. It’s a chance to see a magical, glowing scene! Please note that the event may be canceled in case of rain.
The second is an event for young children: Thomas the Tank Engine Wakuwaku Train Tour on the 2nd floor of ACTA Nishinomiya East Building. We wrote about it in this article.
Sunday the 7th
There are two featured events on Tanabata Sunday.
The first is Natsu Ebisu, held at Nishinomiya Shrine.
In true Tanabata style, it looks like you’ll be able to see a Milky Way made with around 2,000 LED bulbs.
The second is that there are lots of summer festivals at shrines around the city. One might be happening at a shrine near you, so check the 2019 Nishinomiya “Neighborhood Summer Festival” Schedule.
