DONQ’s Favorite Bread Picks Are Heating Up!
The bakery DONQ has three locations: Hankyu Nishinomiya, Hanshin Nishinomiya, and LaLaport Koshien. The Favorite Bread Grand Prix to decide DONQ’s best bread in Japan is getting exciting. Be sure to check the current voting results.
It Started With a Single Curry Bread Food Truck
In February last year, as part of a new local initiative by Furuno Electric, things started with just one curry bread food truck run by young people from Nishinomiya. Now, 19 different food trucks are coming in September, turning it into a real festival-like event. It’s fun when all kinds of food trucks come on different days, isn’t it?

Something That Changed on Nishitsu This Week
There was one change this week.
We Stopped Showing Full-Screen Ads on the Smartphone Top Page
There’s an ad format called full-screen ads that appears on Nishitsu pages, and when you move to a different page within Nishitsu on your smartphone, it fills the whole screen.
The problem was that after reading an article and returning to the top page with the back button, a full-screen ad would appear, and even if you had scrolled partway down, the page would jump all the way back to the top.
Personally, I didn’t like that either, so we asked the ad company we work with to adjust it so the ad won’t appear there anymore!
That said, many people don’t like ads, right? We’re sorry about that 🙏
Running Nishitsu actually takes a surprising amount of time and money, and without advertising revenue it would be difficult to keep going, so we would really appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
With that said, if there are any interesting Nishinomiya tips, we’ll keep turning them into articles! We’d love to receive your tips through our information submission form, LINE, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and more!
Thank you very much!
