From 1:00 p.m. on Saturday the 1st, there will be the Ningyo Joruri puppet performance “Ebisu-kaki”, one of Nishinomiya’s proud cultural traditions, at Hamawaki Elementary School. It also looks like BOYS AND MEN will be appearing at Gardens.
On the 2nd, a flea market run by children? will be held at the Western General Treatment Center in Nishinomiyahama, and the Osaka Bay Living Creatures Simultaneous Survey will take place at the Nature Environment Center in Koshienhama. Yamazaru will be performing at Gardens.
The weekend weather in Nishinomiya is forecast to be cloudy then sunny on Saturday the 1st, with a 10% chance of rain.
Sunday the 1st will be sunny then cloudy, with a 20% chance of rain. So it should be mostly sunny overall. The high will be 27°C, so it’ll be fairly warm.

This Week’s Wrap-Up
This week, the article that got the most views was the one about the cafe tokidoki in Tendocho! Just like last week, information sent in by readers turned into a highly watched article <m(__)m>
This was also a week with plenty of citywide Nishinomiya topics. Maybe that means we haven’t been getting out and about enough…
Before launching “Nishinomiya Tsushin,” we Nishi2 members were basically homebodies who just tapped away on our computers. We weren’t exactly outgoing; if anything, we were a pretty introverted bunch. Since starting Nishi2, through feature articles and gathering information, we’ve finally started gradually getting outside.
First up: can we survive this summer? lol No, really, we’ll keep bringing you useful Nishinomiya info and ultra-local timely topics that spark more family conversations, so thank you as always for your support!
Also, we’re waiting for your tips about Nishinomiya, like opening information such as “There was a notice posted somewhere!” or “There was construction going on!” as well as things like “There’s a summer festival at XX Shrine!” <m(__)m>
That’s all for this week’s Nishi2.
Have a great weekend!!
